GGHN trained staff of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on APHIDS MS, our enterprise digital platform built to make the complex work of public health coordination simpler, faster, and more transparent. The platform supports NCDC’s core mandate of managing progress on International Health Regulations (IHR), preparing and tracking Joint External Evaluation (JEE) milestones, coordinating multi-partner projects, and strengthening systems for emergency preparedness, response, and recovery.

Developed and fully funded by GGHN, APHIDS MS offers a practical, sustainable solution that replaces scattered tools and manual processes with a single integrated system. Participants shared how the platform is already making daily tasks easier: clearer documentation, better visibility across departments, and fewer administrative bottlenecks. The training was also designed to establish a cadre of departmental champions who will guide and support wider adoption within their units.

Since the training, APHIDS MS has added an Employee and Institutional Performance Management module, helping NCDC connect individual contributions to organizational goals. The system makes it easier for staff to track their performance, supports evidence-based workforce planning, and encourages a culture of continuous learning, all while improving transparency and day-to-day efficiency.
