To prepare for the new fiscal year (COP23), GGHN conducted a comprehensive workshop to provide a structured and coordinated approach to achieving our organization's objectives for the USAID-funded ACE-2 project in Jigawa State. The workshop aimed to ensure that all participants understand their roles and responsibilities, facilitating effective resource allocation and project execution.
The strategy framework, encompassing the vision, mission, objectives, and indicators for measuring GGHN's progress and impact, was reviewed to ensure alignment with core purposes and objectives while adapting to evolving conditions and challenges. This review process is crucial for maintaining the organization's effectiveness, relevance, and ability to achieve its mission in an ever-changing environment.
The workshop included learning sessions covering various aspects of the project, such as enhancing facility strengths and retaining the target population. These sessions were designed to inform and guide the development of the new work plan. The highlight of the workshop was the group breakout sessions, where strategies discussed during the learning sessions were applied to develop work plans for the various units.
The Work Plan Development Workshop was a valuable opportunity for knowledge sharing, collaborative planning, and teamwork among the staff and partners of GGHN.
